My journey began back in school, where I had the privilege of being actively involved in both academics and extracurricular activities. Representing my school at the island level in netball and chess, and serving as Head Prefect, helped me develop early skills in discipline, leadership, and teamwork—traits that would later guide me through my professional life.
I started my professional career at Global Systems Solutions (GSS) as a QAT, stepping into the corporate world with curiosity and eagerness to learn. With the unwavering support of my peers and leaders, I embraced every challenge with dedication.
Over time, I had the opportunity to grow into roles such as POC Lead, where I handled client demos and onboarding, then moved into Supervisor roles that expanded into Resource Management and BO Communication. These stages of my journey helped me understand the importance of clear coordination, strong client engagement, and operational excellence.
Later, I was entrusted with overseeing BO Operational Data and Resource Optimization, managing resources across a large global footprint. This was a pivotal point that pushed me to think more strategically, and it deepened my appreciation for structured planning and team collaboration.
As a Regional Operations Manager, I led one of the most challenging migration projects involving numerous clients and teams. It was during this time that I realized how much trust GSS had placed in me, and I felt proud to contribute meaningfully to its success.
Today, I serve as Manager – Legal & Data Privacy, where I apply my background as a Lawyer and Attorney-at-Law to ensure compliance, governance, and data protection within the organization. This role is yet another chapter in a career that continues to evolve with purpose.
Looking back, I’ve come to truly realize how much GSS enables individual growth through its many career pathways. The journey I’ve had is a testament to the opportunities, mentorship, and belief the company places in its people. I’m deeply thankful to my leaders, my team, and GSS as a whole for shaping me into the professional I am today.
